Poor Quality Control
For the price of these posts I was pretty disappointed with the quality control. I ordered online and received both posts damaged. I had to drive thirty minutes to return them at the store and re order new ones because they are not carried in the store. The second order came and one of the two posts was still damaged. It was pretty clear the damage was not from shipping. The box was in pristine condition so a damaged item was sent.
Unreliable Quality Control
This was part of an online order I made for a stair project. The first two newell posts I ordered showed up damaged. Unfortunately I had to drive thirty minutes to the closest Lowe’s, make the return and re-order since this item isn’t carried in the store. After a week, I received the two replacements and one was ok but the other was still damaged. Rather than go through a third order, I was forced to make do with a sub par finish. I would not order these again.

Goes well with french european oak
Easy to work with. It is going to look nice with a clear coat stain and our new French European Oak wood floors
4 Posts ordered, 3 Posts Received Damaged
The quality on these posts is pretty solid, however the packaging is wholy inadequate for standalone shipping. 3 out of 4 posts received were received damaged: Scratched faces and dented corners from poor handling/protection. Price is good, but please know the risks of ordering these posts.
