Before starting to screw boards down, make sure it
The holes to screw down top boards did not line up. When screwed down it was on edge so wood split.

The vendor where this was coming from literally messed up my order so bad. It was suppose to be at the house May 28, 2021. When I tracked it with UPS it said shipped. Went to Lowe’s to find out what was going on and they had no idea and then called the vendor and the warehouse/vendor messed up my order saying it was shipped when it actually never was. Not good quality
Wood is really cheap and splits very easily. The way it assembles does not make the whole structure one piece. The boards just stack and the only screws are the ones that secure the little top seat pieces. Just screwing those in caused many splits in the wood and I had to use other screws in random spots to get it to not be a hazard for a child to play on. The cover is nice though and works really well. That’s the only reason for 2 stars.
Perfect sandbox
We went back and forth on if we should get this one or a plastic one. So happy we went with this one, it’s a good size with plenty of room for both kids to play. Assembly was super easy and I love that it has its own cover! I would highly recommend this to others. Well worth the money

In description it says wood is treated. Is the treatment safe for contact/touch with no transfer of harmful chemicals to children?
