Perfect For My Matrix Decor CF717BS02
I am really happy with this downrod. The included downrod for my Matrix Decor was only 4.5". The diameter of this was just about the same as the 13/16" of my Matrix Decor and nominally is 3/4". I didn't need to drill holes, I put the threaded end facing down so the upper piece did not screw into threads.

Rod Diameter wrong
Have installed probably 10 or more ceiling fans in my life and have never seen a down rod this diameter. Should be 1" but is only 3/4" and will not work.

Blades are hard to install & too many buttons
I've installed 20+ fans in my life and I've never run into a design like this. The fan blades are inserted into a slot and then screwed in. You have to have tiny fingers to get the screws in between the casing and the lip. Plus an extra hand to hold up the cover. It's better to put the blades in before hanging (all but one at least) and to test the screws first so it isn't the first time they use the threads. Also have a magnet handy because when you drop the screws they are difficult to r...

Rod is perfect match but shipped separately
Product great but shipping was not good . Received one tracking number for the rod and fan. But they shipped totally separate. Rod got lost bc it was In original packaging, a very skinny box that got damaged. Again, never received the tracking for the rod. It was finally delivered about a week late.

Great fan and fan fan light
We very much like this fan and lite kit. The one issue for us (and others) is that it only comes with a 4" down rod which for a ceiling of any height is not enough. We had to order a second down road of 15" that was just right. Other than that the fan is great!
