This North American native plant bears trumpet-shaped orange-red flowers throughout the growing season (and all year in frost-free areas) that pollinators find irresistible. It’s easy care, too! Once established, it holds up to summer heatwaves, drought, and sultry humidity. It can reach about 10 feet tall and wide. It blooms year-round in frost-free areas; in the North, it blooms constantly from spring to fall.
Hamelia Fire Bush can attract butterflies and hummingbirds to your yard.
Height at shipping is approximately 30-inches tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant.
Ships in a 10-inch diameter grower pot.
Water when soil is dry.
Grows best in all-day sun but also grows well in afternoon sun and morning shade.
