Unit makes a loud constant chirping sound.

The unit cools well BUT, the sound is so irritating I hate to even turn this thing on. It's very loud!!

New brand for us, and we're very pleased!

This air conditioner was installed less than 1 wk ago. So far, very good. This unit cools very well and operates as described. The remote isn't great. No battery is included so have a CR2025 battery on hand. Additionally, the remote has to be very close, within 12 in. of the unit and directly in front in order for it to work. Be aware of this in the event that you believe you will lie in bed and pick up the remote to make changes to the unit setting.

Worthless remote

The unit itself seems okay in the first couple of weeks of operation. However, the remote has no value at all. The writing on it is hard to tell there's no feedback as to what is going on just some cheap remote. When controlling on the unit itself, you have to put on glasses just to be able to read what is i the display. Very tiny letters and miniature lights. So not using the remote is still difficult to see what you are selecting and what is currently in operation with the unit.

Remote does not come with the battery

I like that it cools I don’t like that it’s noisy and no battery for the remote and no help from the company or from Lowe’s on getting one

It works

Well, I had some trouble figuring out how to get it to cool the room but after some fiddling aound it seems to work ok when you set it to "cool", not "auto", and set it to a temperature a bit lower than what you want. It blows air until it decides to blow cool, and you can hear the motor kick on high (a little louder).
