What Customers Are Saying
The Comfortbilt pellet stove offers mixed performance. Some users praise its effective heating capabilities, quality construction, and user-friendly controls. However, others report issues with the hopper, auger jams, and inconsistent heat output. While the stove is considered a good value, its reliability can be inconsistent, and prospective buyers should carefully evaluate if it meets their specific heating requirements.

this pellet stove was issue from the start. difficult to clean, the pellets in the hopper caught on fire. almost burning my house down. not even 2 years old. Spend the extra money and buy a Harman.
will not run overnight
Great quality stove, but..... there is something very wrong with the design of the hopper. The hopper is already small to begin with, but the sides are not steep and even quality pellets stick to the side, so after 6-7 hours, the auger runs out of pellets (because they are all stuck to the sides) and the stove shuts off. Even on the lowest setting and filling the hopper to where you can barely shut the lid, stove will not run overnight. Day three of waiting for comfortbilt to get back to me with...

Nothing But Problems
I wanted this to work out. I even bought the hopper extension for this thing. Only got about 3/4 of a winter out of it before having problem after problem with the hopper....and I've ensured to maintain this per the requirements. I am not happy with this purchase....auger jams, becomes loose, feeding issues, etc. This thing even started building up pellets in the chute and burning them! In the chute! Luckily I woke up and checked on nit and shut it down quickly or my house might've burned down.

I purchased the HP61 pellet stove for my elderly parents who live in the Midwest, December of 2022. Winters can be harsh there and they are too old to cut wood. They absolutely love it. They have a 2400' ranch style home and it heats with ease.
