This unit has great esthetics with the stainless trim that my wife picked out. The door swings fully open making it easy to empty the ash pot. The side doors also fully open so when it is time to clean inside should be easy. I noticed the cleaning chambers are on the side so that is easy. Hookup was a breeze. I did not install fresh air as my old unit did not have it. So after burning for a year now we are blessed to have this heater.

Comfortbilt Stove HP21

Bought Stove HP21 in Jan 2024, delivered Jan 25, used it for 3 months did all the recommended maintenance. Fired it up in Nov 2024, Stove quit Dec 5th 2024, been in contact with both Comfortbilt and Lowes. Comfortbilt has to date sent the following parts for me to repair myself (I am a woman, referred to comfortbilt videos per comfortbilt) replaced power switch, wiring harness, and motherboard, and now auger bearings. Stove is still under warranty

The stove is a very good piece of equipment, and we are very satisfied with it.

So far it has been performing excellently... We have not been able to give it the acid test as the weather has not turned real cold yet... I/we do love the fact that we no longer have to buy and split wood for our winter supply.. It is a lot easier to bring in a 40lb. bag of pellets and feed the stove... The additional hopper was definitely a nice addition, also..

This is my first pellet stove. I love the way it looks set up. It is so attractive. Gives my home a warm homey feel even though it is not running yet. My son did fire it up for me one cool evening to do the initial burn. The glow from the fire was beautiful. Installation and set up was easy. The care and maintenance appear to be easy. Easy access to all areas that need routine cleaning. I look forward to the warm inviting fire during the cold fall and winter months.

We have two hp 21s. One installed Oct 2020 and one for our son, Oct 2021. The 2020 model shut down just before Christmas of 2021. Called the company and the gentleman knew what what the problem was. Sent a new switch that day and we got it the next. Can’t beat that service. Stoves do a good job plus very attractive bay windows. Most satisfied with the units. They do well in Michigan winters.
