Good Desk, Lots of Pieces

Put this together with my 11 year old son the other day. It was fairly simple installation and only needed a Phillip head screw driver. The instructions are picture based so you have to pay attention to the hole patterns to make sure your on the right side of the board. They're are a lot of pieces, so it helped to take all the pieces out and organize them by alphabet. The finish product is very nice and makes a decent personal home desk.

Easy to put together black writing desk

This black desk was easy to put together and fits perfectly in my son's room for what he needs. The instructions are complete and easy to follow. There were no extra parts, so don't lose any. The desk is good looking and fairly sturdy once put together. The wood is particle board, so be careful with the individual pieces. The drawer hardware is good and the drawers pull out smoothly.

Sturdy Writing Desk with Drawers

It has good curb appeal, and is sturdy once assembled. Assembly took 2 people a bit over an hour. It is made of MDF and composite board, and there was some rubbing of the finish in a couple places and a ding in the top that looks like it was partly filled in at the factory, but is still visible. Not a daily-use deal.

This desk is very nice looking. Assembly was pretty straight-forward, but some of the pieces are mislabeled, but it wasn’t hard to figure it out. I will say, this is probably not an everyday functioning desk. It’s nice if you set it off to the side to use it kind of like a table. The reason for this is that the finish damages really easily.
