ClosetMaid White Steel Rod Support

Great!

Worked very well for the curved corners of our hanging space in our newly renovated closet. Had to do some measuring / trimming of the piece so that it fit appropriately but was a no-brainer. Very durable and stable. Good finish to it.

Fits easily with matching components.

Works as designed.

No dead corners

This curved rod is perfect to use every inch, no dead space. It slides into the regular rod with no trouble.

Closet Maid (lack of support and user infromation)

Added the Closet Maid corner bracket to allow adding sliding coat hanger brackets (photo 1). After adding the corner bracket, the existing shelving did not support the hanger bracket for hanging the rod so back to Lowe's for more shelving (see photo 2). Purchase new shelving for hanger bracket and cut to fit and it does not line up with newly installed corner bracket (see photo 3). One simple observation by my wife and too many assumptions on vented product from Closet Maid. The budget thing ...

Works but not my first choice

This product is useful for when you want to transition around a closet inside corner. I install them on occasion but more often find it just as useful to use shelving to accomplish the inside corner. It is personal preference I think. I detracted one star because the corner can not hold too much weight before it starts to sag and you should not leave heavy hanging on the corner.
