Energy Hog
Had it for a year. Love the design and the thought behind it. Great since we don’t have a fireplace. This was everything until we got the electric bill!! Wife will no longer allow us to turn it on. Our bill actually doubles if we use this every week of a single month. We’ve tested it in regards to energy use and not happy.

It took a couple hours to build, but everything went together perfectly. It is a sturdy, heavy unit that looks great when complete. It is large enough to sit under a 75" flat screen. The heater was billed as capable of heating a 1,000sf room. I would question that! The blower fan doesn't move the heat very well. Its a very quiet fan, but the unit is having a tough time heating the 250sf room it is in. It can mostly maintain the temperature, but that's about it. The fireplace can b...
