IPEX 6-in x 10-ft SDR 35 Sewer Main Pipe

Not what you see in picture

I needed a 35 inch section of 6 inch pipe for a valve project Lowes shows this 6 inch OD x 2 ft pvc sewer pipe on their web site, it has the female collar end molded into the pipe. I figured it would be easy to stick the two pipe sections together and then cut the 48 inches obtained, down to 45 inches. Nope each 2 foot section is straight pipe, no connector bulge. If that is all you need, great. If you need to stick them together, forget it.

Terrible

The delivery driver almost ran over my garbage bin. We have a connected driveway they could have easily turned around in instead. I watched them throw the $50 of pipe I paid $79 for in shipping, and that is completely unacceptable. I paid more for delivery than for the pipe, and for them to leave it near the road is awful and unprofessional. not as shown/ no coupler end

I ordered this because it shows in the picture the bell end is included. it's a cut pipe with no bell end/ coupler.

No Flared Coupler

The picture in your web add clearly shows a coupler at the left end of the piece. You sent a piece of pipe without a means of attachment.

6 in x 2 ft pvc sewer main pipe without flare

When I saw the picture of the pipe, first I thought this would not work for me, but, I looked at it in the store and realized one end is not flared. I needed both ends to be the same, otherwise I would have to cut some off the flared end and then it would not be long enough. I gave it a 4 star rating because they need to update the picture.

Solid pipe that will resist crushing and cracking

I use this pipe for drainage under driveways and other areas where the piping is shallowly buried but subject to crushing. Very strong and easy to couple to normal drainage pipe outside of the crush area.

Picture is Wrong

I went to the local Lowes to get this item, only to find it is not as pictured. It shows a bell on the end of the pipe while the one in the store is not equipped that way, meaning you heve to buy a coupling which they did not stock. Even the 10 ft sections were not made with a bell.

Good pipe

Needed this pipe for buried gutter drainage. Fit the job perfectly. Managed to fit it fully inside our XC60 too, which made it easy. Fits together pretty nicely with 4" flex pipe products.
