I don’t normally give reviews but after seeing someone post about having rubbery skin on their turkey and chicken, I had to. I have used my fryer several times now to fry a turkey. I’ve fried them outside when the temperature has been between 25-30 with plenty of wind. Not one of them ever came out with the skin rubbery. When conditions are like that, you have to keep the top screen on it during the entire cook time and increase the cook time. One of the other things I’ve done is set the frye...

Nice product, good quality and good value. A lot of helpful recipes for the Big Easy just by searching for them on Google. First attempt might not be perfect, but has turned out good. For instance putting the lid on for 15 minutes will make poultry skin crisp. Do to temperature outside or in fryer you may have to add a few minutes for your desired crispiness

Bought mine 12 years ago and it's the best cooking item ever bought. Cooked countless turkeys and never had a failure. Comes out perfectly juicy & moist while looking a beautiful golden brown. I always recommend a 48 hour brining first. Adds much flavor.
