Couldn't ask for better
I wanted a wifi enabled opener after years of panic attacks that I had left the door open. My husband and a buddy installed it in about 3.5 hours. The app has amazing features including alerts to when the door opens and closes. Great for keeping track of kids coming and going. Ultra quiet. We keep catching the dog by surprise when we come home.

Phantom Operation
I installed my B980 3 weeks ago, The installation was long but easy. This opener is very quiet and works great, My house is brand new and I didn't have internet yet, so I wasn't able to try the online features yet. My big concern and disappointing is the "Phantom Operation" I experienced twice, "Phantom Operation" is the name when the garage opener open's by itself randomly. It happens to me twice, when I woke up and my garage was wide open. thankfully I did not lose any of my valuables ye...

Lights failing
I love the opener but it continually causes the opener lights fail. Continually replacing bulbs. Have tried incandescent and LED. THEY ALL FAIL.. will try expensive shop light bulbs next. The unit is installed securely so that does not seem to be the problem.

The battery backup is very useful during power outages, especially when arriving home during a storm with a power outage. The MyQ if very handy as it allow you to see if you have left the door open. Excellent equipment
Bought this to replace a 45 ez-lift in my garage, install was simple and straight forward since i had an existing opener, the features are nice, the up / down programming is very simple and spot on, control panels are feature packed and easily programmed and the wi-fi setup and iphone app work flawlessly, very impressed !
