Good, but does not hold up outdoors
The fan does not. hold up well in outdoor use. I have had two blade irons break and all five blades warp and crack. The motor itself is outstanding, as is usual for Hunter/Casablanca. The parts department is also helpful in sending me replacement parts--including one set of blade irons under warranty (the second I had to pay for). However, an outdoor-rated fan from a company with Hunter's reputation should not deteriorate as rapidly as mine has when used in accordance with your specifications.

Great fan
We love our new fan. It is the perfect size for our cathedral ceiling in the living room and it looks very classy. It is quiet and stable (no rocking at higher speeds), and it provides just the right cooling for our living area.

When you want the best
Casablanca fans have a great history and Hunter continues the tradition of top tier fan manufacturing. This fan is solid and very well made and is quiet and balanced right out of the box! I expect it to last for years as my other Casablanca fan has ( more than 35 years )!

The detail is beautiful!! It is easy to install and very quiet in operation. I do wish it came with a little more options for the fan blades. With the fan being dark bronze and the blades being dark, it is hard to see the beautiful detail of the body.
