What Customers Are Saying
The fire-resistant pants offer mixed feedback. Some customers report issues with the sizing, noting the pants run small in the waist and long in the legs, requiring ordering a larger size. However, many praise the pants' comfort, durability, and suitability for outdoor work, appreciating the fire-resistant properties. Long-time wearers report the pants hold up well over extended use. The main takeaway is that customers should carefully consider the sizing, as the right fit provides high-quality, functional protection, but the inconsistent sizing has been frustrating for some.

The waste size for me was also too small. Fabric also seemed thin. Reading past reviews, it looks like a common and long-time problem. Ugh, Carhartt is another old and trusted brand that has let its quality slip.

Sorry
Sounds like most of you are smart. Great pants ,durable. And...sounds like some of you don't want to acknowledge the fact you are getting old and fat , fast.

Waist sizing is OFF
I've been wearing these FR pants for years and they are super comfortable, however, with the latest set of pants that I received from my employer, the sizing is inaccurate. I normally wear a size 36' waist and with this new set, I can barely snap the pants. I receive five pair at a time and all five pair are super tight in the waist and no, I have not gained any weigh. Carhartt needs to address this immediately.

Thin fabric
The fit is full, did not run small for me as other reviewers have noted. Fabric is odd, thinner than duck and not that warm, left side pocket is quite small, will not fit hand pruners.

Pants run small
The sizes run very small. Normally I fit into a 32 with enough room for comfort. I ordered a 33 and I needed an extra 2-3inches to button the pants. Definitely swapping sizes for a bigger size

Bad Sizing
I was a happy with my Force FR shirts so I ordered some of these pants as well. The sizing is way off. The waist was about 2 - 3" too small and the inseam was 3" longer than advertised. The material seems nice and light for FR but they are not wearable for me.

Measurement Fail
I just want to know who taught y’all how to measure, or how long exactly do y’all think one inch is? I’ve gone through three orders now of different FR pants that are insanely long. The first two were 32” legs and they went entirely over my foot. I finally ordered a 30” leg and it’s still half way down my foot. It would be kind of hilarious if I didn’t need them for work.
