Terrible

The roll we received is brittle and crumbling. We're trying to make it work, but it breaks and falls apart so easily that we might have to get something different. We had purchased a roll a couple of years ago and didn't have this problem, so not sure if the quality has decreased since then or this one was damaged.

Helps with noise and imperfections

Helps with noise and a little stiff in my opinion, helped with small imperfections its 1/4" thick i used it beneath my LVP and on top of my old glue downed parquet on wood subfloor .was taped down did smell a little bit at first until planking was put on it.

worst quality I've ever seen !!!

One has to handle it with great care, since it is very britle and breaks just from unrolling and laying flat. It sems to be made from leftovers, only the tiniest particle were used. I had a leftover from my last job, that was made from bigger particles and even after two years, it didn't break (comparison, last picture).

Great noise blocking/sound deadening material

I used this as underlayment to LVP in 2 upper bedrooms. Compared to contractor grade carpeting and padding (which was pulled off the 2 bedrooms), this cork muffled the footsteps significantly. The big WOW was the amount of noise it blocked coming from the level below. It almost totally blocked the sound coming from my living room. The rolls are big and heavy. Horrible condition upon arrival - poor packaging

The product was shipped as a plastic wrapped roll and arrive with tons of rips in the plastic wrap which damaged the product. One whole side of a roll as broken and in crumbles. I bought the 1/4" thick rolls which are quite large (4' long by 15-16" in diameter) and heavy. Returning it to a store will be a pain, but so much of the outer layers of the roll are damaged so we will have to figure out a way. If the product was shipped with greater care, I think the product would be great. Do better ...

Great for uneven floor’s

Seems durable and sturdy, it’s very easy to work with. I bet it will keep down on the noisy floors. This would be perfect for laundry or kitchen area gives it more sponge under your feet were you would stand a lot. I’m guessing it would even make the floor warmer. Make sure you use a sharp razor blade to cut perfectly. It was a lot easier just cutting it outside on the concrete. Definitely worth trying!

Great under laminate and more

I use this cork product for a variety of uses, from an under laminate to putting cut pieces under pots and more. It is a great product and works wonders to protect the floor both under and on top of the floor. Highly recommended as it is a simple product, yet valuable.

Quality material

Large roll of cork underlayment. Plan to use this under our new flooring in our cabin to provide insulation and cushion barrier. It is a quality material and easy to cut and work with. Should get 2 rooms out of this one roll. Nicely packaged .
