this appears to be well built but does not meet code for arizona (115 mile winds) and thus should not be purchased in this state or any other where building codes must be met and are higher than 75

I haven't had a chance to put the carport up yet but after unpacking the two boxes it looks like the carport is well made. It is interesting that the vertical supports are aluminum and some of the main supports for the roof are very heavy steel but I guess the engineers know what they are doing in terms of where to save on weight/where they require steel. Looking forward to getting it set up and having some shade.

Modern Alternative to Standard Carports

There isn't much to dislike about this product. I've had my eye on it for about 3 years and I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger. It's exactly what I needed to provide coverage for my SUV, which was getting beat up by the sun, rain and gassy birds. I wasn't able to build a typical carport so this was an excellent alternative. It's extremely solid and didn't require a lot of manpower to install but at least one person should be very handy and moderately skillful with builds. It took us two ...
