Very quiet air compressor

I was truly surprised how quiet this compressor actually is. It is marketed as quiet and definitely lives up to that claim.

The Good I just got this and so far I'm very happy. It's super quite, you can run it at night without freaking out the neighbors, and overall it's great. I appreciate the dual connections for the hoses and the nice large knobs to adjust the pressure. The wheels are heavy duty and solid, so moving it isn't an issue. The electrical cord has a nice length to it, and the air release valve on the bottom, which can be awkward to get to, is well positioned because it won't bump and dent if you roll t...

Loved the product, But.....

Customer service person at the Morristown,TN store was a PAIN. My husband standing there looking at the air compressor and she still didn't want to let him have it because according to her "it's not in the right spot" Are you kidding me?!?!?

It's quiet but that's all...

I replaced my OLD leaking, rusty Black Max belt driven compressor with this new CAT. It is a few DB quieter than my old unit, but that's about the only thing I'm impressed with on this compressor. The compressor was a little banged up from shipping, it has some scuffs, scratches, and a couple of small dents. I'm not crazy about the small air manifold that everything is connected to. I like to run 3/8 couplers and fittings on all of my air tools and equipment but the hose that feeds the manifold ...

Was trying to like this but CAT dropped the ball

The compressor itself seems ok, it is very quiet and fills fast. The process of putting it together and dealing with customer service is a real pain. It arrived without the wheels and the unit sat in my shop until the company sent me the wheels. The set of wheels that arrived were clearly old and busted up. Once installed I was able to proceed with the test instructions only to find a leak from the manifold at one of the couplers. It's been a week since I submitted what customer service asked me...
