This product was the perfect tint for the timbers on our house, as well as our privacy fence. I had put two coats of stain about 3.5 years ago. The sun has eat the stain up to an extent. We are going to put another follow up coat on everything. We will see how long this coat last. But I would recommend this product it helped with the preservation of our wood.

Lovely color
This is a 2 coat product. The first coat stains and the second coat seals. I do think I’ll add an extra clear coat on the deck stairs I’m staining though. I really love the sunlit walnut color myself and it is an easy product to work with.

Great Stain!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first gallon of this stain 3 years ago for my deck floor and been using since. This year we used it on our privacy fence. The warm color of the Sunlit Gold is perfect and added so much to the landscaping. Now I want to try a darker color for the pergola to add contrast. I’ve used a lot of stains and paints and Cabot Stain is hands down my favorite!
