I read the reviews before buying this pole saw and the bad reviews talked about hard to start, power bogging down, chain to tight, bar/chain oil leaking, etc. For those people who had problems and have never owned a gas powered chain saw read the manual. I read the manual and it said to check the chain it might be to tight or to loose and it always needs to be checked during use due to stretching. Craftsman 10" 25cc Pole Saw!

I bought this saw because my old extension cutters that you use a rope on would not cut nothing bigger than 1" so got this pole saw and am really amazed at how good it cuts stuff.I have had this pole saw almost a year about 15 days shy of a year and have cut limbs out of oak,gum,popular,crate mrytles,big leaf magnolia,dogwood,cedar trees the list goes on.And i have also cut vines like them terrible vesteria vines.I have cut stuff up to about 8" with it and it works great if you just let it do th...

FOr the cost and brand this saw does what a $200 saw should do . The negatives are to be expected in a cheap saw. It can be finicky on starting taking several pulls. There again its not a stihl or Husk so this is expected . It will start just takes several pulls but after it warms up just a few pulls after that to restart. Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was great. Instructions where good, but I didn't follow them in the assembly lol. The product comes with a can of pre-mix fuel and a small bottle of pre-mix oil and bar oil. After assembly and priming the fuel system it started really quick. For folk with carpal tunnel syndrome, this may not be a product for you with the vibrations from the engine. The engine side is sort of heavy but the bar and chain counter balance it a tad....

Needing to replace my 20+ year old Craftsman yard tools, I decided to again reload my tool shed with Craftsman. I like the length of the pole trimmer. It's equally as long as my manual pole trimmer.
