Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
The reviews for this pole saw are mixed. Many customers report the saw is powerful, easy to use, and versatile, able to cut through thick branches and trees. It is described as lightweight, well-balanced, and simple to assemble and disassemble. However, some customers experienced issues, with the saw being difficult to start, running for only a short time, and developing mechanical problems. There are also concerns about the limited warranty. The reviews suggest the saw can be a useful tool when functioning properly, but there are quality control issues leading to inconsistent performance and premature failures for some customers.

I read the reviews before buying this pole saw and the bad reviews talked about hard to start, power bogging down, chain to tight, bar/chain oil leaking, etc. For those people who had problems and have never owned a gas powered chain saw read the manual. I read the manual and it said to check the chain it might be to tight or to loose and it always needs to be checked during use due to stretching. The manual pointed out that there is a adjustment screw to control the amount of bar chain. My did ...
Overall, a darn good saw
We were really quite thrilled to find a Craftsman (!) product that was specifically what we needed (a gas-powered pole saw) at Lowe's; we had purchased a powered pole saw a few months earlier, and when we went to use it for the first time, discovered that it was electric (not battery-powered) and therefore half worthless (not a bad product -- we just don't want to try to run 200-yard extension cords through fields of weeds). Lowe's was fabulous about letting us bring it back so we could buy what...
Craftsman 10" 25cc Pole Saw!
I bought this saw because my old extension cutters that you use a rope on would not cut nothing bigger than 1" so got this pole saw and am really amazed at how good it cuts stuff.I have had this pole saw almost a year about 15 days shy of a year and have cut limbs out of oak, gum, popular, crate mrytles, big leaf magnolia, dogwood, cedar trees the list goes on.And i have also cut vines like them terrible vesteria vines.I have cut stuff up to about 8" with it and it works great if you just let it do th...
good for the price
FOr the cost and brand this saw does what a $200 saw should do . The negatives are to be expected in a cheap saw. It can be finicky on starting taking several pulls. There again its not a stihl or Husk so this is expected . It will start just takes several pulls but after it warms up just a few pulls after that to restart. It feels very unbalanced but then again its a cheap saw so you learn to over look this. So what does it do , it cuts and cuts well at very tall lengths . This is about 8 foot...
Great quality, surprisingly easy to start!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a little over a month of ownership I am really pleased with this pole saw. The initial start was a little difficult however may not be the fault of the equipment. I suspected that I may have flooded it so I walked away and came back a few hours later, tried again and with ease it started right up! With a few adjustments on the chain and oiler I was off and running ready to see what this machine was capable of. Usage so far includes trimin...

YARD CHAINSAW MUST HAVE!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, where to begin with this product. I don't find myself ever loving a product enough to take the time to write a review but with the Craftsman 10" Gas Pole Saw my expectations were far from exceeded. As one who would fancy themselves as a weekend yard enthusiast I couldn't help but get excited about this pole saw. Finally no more excruciating pain while clipping the tree branches my neighbors negligently allowed to over grow onto my property...

She Goes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a couple weeks ago, and it has been extremely useful in it's intended purpose. I have used it to cut down palm trees leaves and small tree branches. Overall it is a well put-together tool, and the ability to expand what attachments it runs is very innovative. It came with a can of fuel, and bottle of bar & chain oil, plus a small bottle of 2-cycle oil for use in pump gas. There is an electric starter option which I did n...

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was great. Instructions where good, but I didn't follow them in the assembly lol. The product comes with a can of pre-mix fuel and a small bottle of pre-mix oil and bar oil. After assembly and priming the fuel system it started really quick. For folk with carpal tunnel syndrome, this may not be a product for you with the vibrations from the engine. The engine side is sort of heavy but the bar and chain counter balance it a tad....

Great balance of value, quality and usefulness...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having resided 20+ years at the same address, I had some long overdue pruning, and trimming work stacking up. Needing to replace my 20+ year old Craftsman yard tools, I decided to again reload my tool shed with Craftsman. I like the length of the pole trimmer. It's equally as long as my manual pole trimmer. I like the versatility. I can limb comfortably up to to 3". I like that I can take a section out and have a strong shrub trimmer....

Excellent Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted this pole saw for trimming Maple and Crab apple trees around my yard and buildings. Putting the saw together was a snap everything easily fit together. After assembly I filled the bar oil and fuel tanks and headed outside. I followed the starting instructions and it roared to life on the second pull .My first target was a 2" crab apple branch. I pulled the trigger and brought the rpm's up pretty high before putting the blade on t...
