Beautiful set until u need a replacement which they don’t carry in gunmetal chrome. You’ll have to settle for regular chrome which will then ruin your set. Way to go craftsman after all these years finally an unreplaceable part. Your just like the rest now

Great set one duplicate socket though

Love this set been using it for a long time now. It's held up well. The trays are nice but I wish craftsman sold a numbered vertical tray that held this many sockets for saving some space. Long time craftsman owner I have tools that are three generations old still going strong. To Robbie... You strip bolts with 12point sockets because you are using 12pt sockets on 6 point nuts/bolts. Good set

Grabbed this set on sale and it’s really nice. My use is casual mechanic and homeowner, and for my purposes the set is great. It’s far more complete than the mishmash of smaller sets I’ve had before: minimal wasted bits (~160 sockets-all 6pt), 3 nice tight 120 tooth ratchets, and construction/finish of tools are all good - I like the gunmetal chrome too. Sockets are readable with stamped sizes. Storage in trays work well if they stay in a tool chest - mine do so this is preferable to blowmolded ...

Why would you need 12 point sockets anyway? Ive used the 12 points before and all they do is strip the head of the bolts off. Its best to use a 6 point socket.

craftsman redefined

for the price at lowes it is a good buy. the set will work and last a long time .the 6 point sockets are a plus for the fasteners that have the corners wore on them. and the finish is nice.

Great set so far

I bought this almost a week ago, and it's nothing short of a great set. It's not one of those sets that has a lot of kibble, either. It has two rows of bits (about 22 bits in all), Allens, and that's about it on the unnecessary pieces. It has a lot of sockets, a decent amount of extensions, and swivels.
