Unacceptable
I did not receive the product I ordered. FedEx emailed a photo of the delivery on the front porch but this was of someone else's front porch. Furthermore, this was a two piece electric fireplace and there was only one box in the delivery photo to the wrong home, so neither box made it to my home. I ordered this electric fireplace because my furnace stopped working properly and needed this specific product because it claimed to heat up to 1000 square feet and if has been freezing here. The fireplace arrived in great condition. The black finish is nice without obvious flaws. I put it together on my own without trouble. It is good to avoid tightening up the screws until it's fully assembled so that the holes line up easily. The remote control included a battery. It functions as described. It was very easy to put together and it keeps our living room warm. It’s very cozy as well especially during the winter months.
Great Electric Fireplace Option
We purchased this fireplace about a year ago. I was skeptical about purchasing a more moderate unit when many go for $2-3,000, but this one has been great! The heating feature (can be turned on or off) works better than our heating system. I have had to deal with customer service twice (once with delivery and once non-product related). They were quick to answer, efficient, and very helpful. I would buy again!

Where is the corner option? Just throwing it in the corner with a huge gap at the back doesn’t make it a corner fireplace. A corner fireplace to some extent means it has a corner shape to it.
