Interesting system for hidden fasteners

I ordered these on the fly, not catching on that they go on trex with the grooved sides. Luckily i had some leftovers from another job to try them out. Pros....Camo makes a super fast system to install these types of decks that cuts labor time in half, and The screws appear to be made out of 316 marine grade stainless because a magnet would not stick. Hidden Wedge Clip Deck Fasteners

Clips did not come with any drivers like the box stated it did, just that yellow driver guide. The clips are plastic. Nice idea to hold grooved planks and space them but here the weather destroys plastic.

Not what I thought this was for.

I got this thinking I could cause it on my wood deck. The description says it can be used with hardwood boards, but I don’t see how. The system requires a groove to hide the plastic clip that regular deck boards don’t have.

Convenient for deck building, speed and quality

When you are building a deck, every little helpful tool is critical. This set of hidden fasteners and the included spacing guide is extremely helpful. Long bits to drive the screw are provided as well, which are all very convenient when setting boards. My only complaint was that the box lid itself was hard to remove and when removed all the paint flaked off everywhere leaving glitter all over. Otherwise, add this to your decking project for better quality and speed.
