Check color is what you ordered and edges are on.
Product is ok for most part. Few damaged pieces and wrong colors in few boxes. The issue is it took MONTHS to arrive. I contacted Lowe’s who had no idea what was going on, had to cancel and reorder 3 times only for boxes that eventually arrived to have chipped edges. Disappointed with Lowes on this not necessarily the product. Also note the wood doesn’t install well with angled nail gun ended up having to use glue.
Disappointed!!!
Had our pick of flooring for a newly built home, extremely unhappy with the quality of the product. Do not drop anything on it unless it's a cotton ball it will scratch and dent easily. We also just got a new pet, nails trimmed but scratches everywhere no matter how short the nails. We have only had the home since 9/2015 and the floor looks like it's been used and worn out for 20+years. SAD!!! On top of it some was not even installed properly but can not get the builder to come back out. So goes...
Great floor
We purchased our home 2.5 yrs ago and this flooring was in the basement/man cave. It is clearly more than a few years old but is holding up well and we are making plans to continue on with it upstairs in the near future. Love the color and design as well as the quality.
Poor quality
I love working with Lowe's. The problem is the product. This hardwood floor scratches so easily and dents like linoleum. I regret putting it down.
Hey there Nana! The finish we apply to our hardwood floors is made with urethane and aluminum oxide. The aluminum oxide provides the floor with its d...

Engineered hardwood was a new experience
We purchased Bruce flooring because I have installed it in other homes in the past with success. This was the first time I tried an engineered flooring and once I got the hang of it I was off and laying it with ease. The trick is to line it up properly and tap the leading edge a few times and it will lay right down in the exact place you want it. No nails or fasteners necessary. The exception was that I partially drove 6p finish nails every 3 ft in the first row. That kept it in place as I was t...
oak hardwood
I bought this wood and had it professionally installed at my property. Great quality, there was a good variety of lenghts without any of them being too short. The waste was minimal and it looks fantastic. I left it for two weeks in the house to acclimate and have not had any problems with it at all so far. Highly recommend this product
Overall good product
I ordered the floor online. I decided to do a glue down installation myself. When the floor came in, I figured I would just buy the glue and additional supplies at my local Lowe's store. My local Lowe's did not carry the trowel size recommend by Bruce for this floor (also the same trowel recommended by the Bruce Adhesive) in stock. To my surprise, I was told by the Lowe's associate they would have to order the trowel and it would take 3 weeks to arrive. I eventually found a trowel with fairly si...
Good So Far
I recently installed the engineered hardwood myself. I'm an average do-it-your-selfer and found it pretty easy to install. I installed it in a basement, first using a quality underlayment. I installed 460 square feet of the hardwood and found only a 3-4 pieces out of 32 boxes that couldn't be used because of defects. Only time will tell how well it holds up after some use.
Good purchase
I bought this flooring on the website. Picked it up at the Lowe's in South Augusta. Had little to no problems at all get it from customer services.
