Bad fan/light - avoid

Add another one to the list for this product. Fan still operates, but lights are gone. The original fan from 25 years ago was better than this garbage. I changed the switch will now swap the thermal fuse. My guess, will not fix the issue.

Don’t purchase!!

Would Not Recommend

I have a new construction home and the second use of the heat lamp feature has both bulbs not working. They both turned off at the same time and won’t turn back on again. Not an issue with my breaker, and the fan feature still works. I guess this has been an ongoing issue with this product, I wouldn’t purchase this again.

How do I get the original out of the ceiling?

The original was installed in 2010 and is now making horrible noises. I bought a replacement and have not yet figured out how to remove the original without destroying sheetrock. Will appreciate a link to any procedure for removing and replacing the product. The Broan examples on YouTube are all for simpler models without a fan that sticks out into the void.

Built in defect.

Would Not Recommend

Model 164-M. Lights quit working after less than one hours use, maybe 12 cycles. The thermal fuse for the lights (fuse on white neutral wire) failed - no continuity. With jumper wire works ok. This fuse issue makes the entire product junk. Either the fuse was sized incorrectly or there is another serious design flaw in this product! Judging from other reviews ,this appears to be a years old issue.
