Nice, but.....

This exhaust hood was great for a while. As advertised, it was easy to install. I did it by myself and it took about 2 hours. It worked great for a while. We don't use it often, maybe 4 times a week, and rarely on its highest speed setting (maybe once a month). Like other reviewers have mentioned, the fans are now cracked after about 2 years of use. After 4Years of use

In Last 4 years, the the blower fan assembly was broken in to two pieces twice. Not sure about the quality of that plastic fan assemy. Its so fragile you will find brittoof pieces and will eventually broke into two pieces. Its not a recommend product to use. You will go through the painful process.

adhesive let go

This was purchased and installed in March of 2018. 3 years of use is all we got out of it. The adhesive holding the control panel/button in place couldn’t handle the HEAT and the button fell inside the unit one night. It made contact with something and there was a huge flash/spark. The fan is now dead. The repairs will cost us another almost $300. Try using screws next time!

Sleek fan with great suction

Previously we had a Frigidaire microwave above the stove with the fan. It didn't work well, our cabinets above the microwave were always full of grease, with the Broan it is not that is not the case. This Broan is much quieter than our previous fan. I read complaints that it was too loud but it's not bad for us compared to what we had! Overall, this fan had been great for us. My husband also said the fan was easy to install, but a power cord is needed. It also looks great.

It's okay

It does a good job moving air and the lighting is pretty good, but for the price I expected a little better quality. The first two fan settings do basically nothing, and the third is full blast. I wish there was better speed control because I find myself only using the third setting when using it. After a year of owning the hood, both of the fan blades inside broke in the same way. I replaced them and am hoping that this doesn't happen again.

Sleak and powerful.

We've gone through a couple range hood and this is by far the best one. The vent is very strong and that's perfect since there's a lot of cooking going here. It takes the smell, steam and smoke right out. Yes, it's loud on it's high setting but that's okay. Low and medium setting is very good too and not loud. Yet another fan failure

Pluses: Minimalist style is unobtrusive and allows for greater visibility of the range top. When fans worked, they did a fair job of clearing smoke, although the sound difference between middle fan level and high is significant. Great Technical Service

I rated this product a few days ago as a 1 due to a fan failure. Nut one has reached out to me and are shipping new fans. They fully acknowledge the design issue and have done ALL the right things in addressing this issue. They established a “product hold” while replacement parts were being designed and produced before putting the product back into production. My communication with their Technical Team earns them a 5 rating.
