What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this spike aerator for exceptional performance, ease of assembly, and rugged construction. Most highlight its effectiveness on compacted and clay soils, with sharp tines that remain undamaged after multiple uses and visible lawn improvements within days. Reviewers commend the straightforward assembly with clear instructions, completing setup in under two hours. The sturdy build, transport wheels, adjustable weight tray, and customizable penetration depth are frequently cited as smart design features. A few note minor issues like flimsy wheels or missing hardware, though these rarely detract from overall satisfaction. Most customers consider this a reliable, high-value investment for lawn health.

Assembly instructions were pretty clear and the aerator was fairly easy to put together by myself. I used it a few weeks ago, a day after we had an all day rain. About 60lbs of weight added, and tines went into the ground about two inches (that's about all the longer they are, which is fine). I had the riding mower set to slightly lower moderate speed and was happy with the results.

Great improvements
The assembly instructions were good. Great diagrams. I like the added handle to lift it off the tines from my old one.

Hard Western Ky lawn soil
Well made implement, took my youngest son around 20 minutes to assemble. Runs true behind mower. Used on my daughter's lawn also. Wish I would have bought one sooner.

Spike Aerator
I gave this product only 3 stars overall.A spike aerator will only compact the soil as the spike moves into the soil bed. A plug aerator is much better as it removes a plug of dirt when the plug spike moves into the soil bed and is pulled out.. The dirt plug is then deposited on the surface of the ground.

Good with tough ground
Loaded 140 pounds on the aerator, went through some very tough ground with ease, the steel points did not have any issues with hard sod, sandy conditions, or uneven ground. You could see very minimal disruption of the lawn after it went through. Was able to run at 4 to 5 mph with ease, very easy for the lawn tractor to pull.
