What Customers Are Saying
This aerator/spreader product received mixed reviews. Many customers praised its performance, ease of use, and value, but several issues were also reported, including concerns about the quality and durability of components like the wheel assemblies and frame. Some users had to make repairs or modifications. The aerator's ability to effectively penetrate the ground, especially on uneven terrain, was also limited by the tine length and wheel size. Additionally, some customers experienced challenges with the fertilizer/seed flow control mechanism. Overall, the product seems to work well when functioning as intended, but the quality and design problems highlighted by multiple customers are significant.

Bought device which broke immediately after building and using only once. Got zero help from company except to fix it myself with new parts yet came installed/put together and unable to fix. Top tray also very flimsy and easy to break and difficult to attach. Am currently on 3rd device as useful when works, but easy to break and poorly designed and put together.

Nice concept but some minor flaws
I really like the multi-function and simple design. The problem I ran into is after stopping the fertilizer flow at the turn rows, the spring is not strong enough to pull the gate open. I have to get off the tractor and pull on the back of the fertilizer gate to get the opening right. Also I have had trouble with the aerator lift arm sliding out of the latch when lifted. I will attempt adjusting that but small bumps or sharp turning are enough to make the lever come loose and tines drop. Overall...

Got the job done!
Assembly was not too difficult, still didn’t have enough washers. Having read prior reviews, I had extra washers on hand. The material are not commercial grade but should be fine for lawn use. Tires were not aired up? I do not understand why? Put together, filled the bin with fertilizer added small block to help weight it down. Used it two hours pulling it with my zero turn mower and felt that it did a pretty good of punching my yard while releasing the fertilizer. Then went back over the same ...

Works great
I purchased this a few weeks ago and have used it twice in that time. Very easy to use. The weight shelf is a great feature. Put down 160 pounds of grass seed in total.

Aerator
First time using it three wheel fell off. That’s my only complaint about the product. It should’ve came with 5/8 bolts instead of 1/2. The wheels should have bearings to, in my opinion. So I’ve fixed it with correct size bolts and replaced the wheels too. You pay that much for something it should have better quality parts.

Packaging was a little less than adequate.
After putting the unit together, it is nice and sturdy by todays standards. The packaging left the product a bit unprotected. I had to use a rubber mallet to fix 2 places that were damaged in shipping or from the factory. One dent was where the weight box went, I had to straighten the rail so the box would go on.

Poor quality, don’t waste your money.
Very disappointed with the light duty and poor quality of the wheel assemblies and tubular frame that the wheels bolt to. Already have to replace one wheel and somehow repair the tube steel after using the aerator for the first time.

Weight needed. Not good for hard, dry soil.
Seems well made. Good instructions for assembly. Nice size.

Works as advertised
This product was as advertised. It seems to be well built and does the job. I used it for a third acre lot and it is just the right size to pull behind a small zero turn tractor. I think the only downside is that you cannot reach the lever to stop the flow of seed/fertilizer from the tractor seat. It an extension would be included this would be a perfect and affordable for lawn maintenance. One usage and the aerator/spreader pays for itself and it appears to be built well enough to last f...
