Finicky ignition, loud fan, bad install, bakes gr8

As other reviews say, the ignition is so finicky; you need just the right touch—usually takes me 3x to light it (example in video). That said, the actual cooking/baking is fabulous; it's never an issue once it gets going. Just a note: the fan is quite loud, but we've gotten used to it (also in the video). Oven not lighting

Oven Ignition and keeping pilot light on has been a disaster! I have had 4 service calls in 4 months. First service call adjusted ignition burner. Second service call replaced, ignition burner. Third service call adjusted ignition burner and replaced control knob and etc. Oven was totally taken apart. Fourth service call adjusted ignition burner. Great Stove / Oven

3 years and has never worked.

We have a Bosch kitchen and just hit the 3yr mark. Already replaced the dishwasher and the microwave. We'll eventually replace the range that has never worked. As other commenters have mentioned lighting the range oven doesn't work and never has. Repair guy said user error and Bosch wasn't helpful.

Oven takes about 8 tries to light

I've had this oven for a little under two years but even during its early uses the oven NEVER turned on reliably. Sometimes I have to sit there with the oven light on and light it ten times before I see the burner turn on. I've tried to figure out if it's something I'm doing or if there is some dirty fuse but apparently everyone else has the same issue. The other horrible thing is that because it's an imprecise knob with no markings, you have to roughly estimate what you think the temperature is...

800 Gas Range

Couple things i would recommend for future upgrades, a digital oven temperature reading and automactic shut off of the fan when the overn is turned off. Besides these two small complaints, it's a great oven.

BUY the range - but READ the manual
