How was my Bosch HMV8054U experience? I bought and installed this premium priced microwave in Jan 2026. From day one there has been an electrical buzz that has slowly gotten worse. It sounds like there is a loose fastener on the high voltage transformer that violently rattles itself looser when the microwave is running, particularly when the microwave turns on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is a bit scary when you can bake pie shells perfectly without using the oven that heats up the house and then you can reheat a cold cup of coffee in 30secs! The selection of functions should be rethought as we have yet to use more than 5 functions. Awesome microwave

SURPRISINGLY LACKING
The Microwave does heat quickly and looks more or less well finished. In terms of fit and finish it is no better than microwaves costing 1/3 as much. The control panel is cryptic, unreadable in a dimly lit room unless you have a spotlight directed at it. The several sensor cooking options are accessible only by studying a table in the manual or by referring to a glue on chart that sticks to the surface inside the door.
