I love this drill
I've had mine for probably close to 8 or 9 years. Its my go to for small jobs. One battery finally died and the other is still going strong. I just ordered 2 more batteries - that's how much I like it. I can't believe how expensive the drill is now. I don't remember what I paid back then but it was probably about the price of the bare tool now and mine came with the 2 batts, charger and bag. Great drill back then but not sure on quality these days. may not be the same quality??
Battery Not Included
Buyer Beware - THIS DOES NOT COME WITH A BATTERY! Ignore the incredibly misleading photos of the drill with a batter and the FAQ responses directly from BOSCH saying it comes with a batter and case. It does not. If you read all the way to the bottom of the product specs it mentions oh by the way, this does not come with a battery. Meanwhile there are at least 5 other references that says it does. Very disappointed.

Drill Failed After Two Years

replaced the original with the same one
Yup, the old one got so beat up (but still works) I decided to replace it with a new one. That way I can use the old one for beating it up projects and the new one for more precise projects. This way when I do wire wheel grinding, I won't scum up the new one. This drill has been through lots of heavy duty project. Probably more than it was rated for, but it kept on working.

I bought this drill for homeowner type use. After about 8 months something internal broke. Now it makes a loud rattle and the chuck won't engage. Bought a second one. Same deal, same time frame. Got a Milwaukee and its worked much better for longer.
