I read that the Roma tomato makes a terrific sauce tomato, so I tried one plant this year. I had an easy recipe for tomato sauce that you freeze, and I wanted to give it a try. Wow, this was a VERY productive plant this year! I'd estimate I harvested 15 lbs. or more of tomatoes from just this one plant.
