This looks just like the picture, but it's just thin plastic. I was hoping for a thicker one, but will use this since I need it right now.

Nice planter for steps, front porch, or patio

This planter was the Goldilocks of planters for me - it was just right! I have large planters on my front porch but wanted something smaller yet of a similar look for farther down the front steps. It does not come with drainage holes but I punched one into the bottom of the bowl as well as the top of the base stand. The planter base is not attached and there is no way to affix it -- so if you pick up the planter to move it, etc. be aware that the base will simply drop off. I was expecting it to ...

Good size for front steps, base doesn't attach

I just received these and really like the size for their intended purpose on my front steps. I was dismayed to see that the base doesn't attach to the bowl -- so this is something to keep in mind when moving them around. Two pieces are fine, but the base should snap into position or something. Price dropped a bit the day after I received them, which also irritated me. But I'll plant some flowers and cheer up!
