Constructed of heavy duty diamond tread plate aluminum and will never rust
Stainless steel paddle handle latches feature double static cams that guide the lid striker into the lock, allowing you to easily open the box while providing maximum security
Auto-lift, self-rising, gas powered shocks allow for easy, single handed entry in to the box
Self-adjusting striker accommodates for any misalignment between the lid striker and the latch to ensure the lid closes securely every time
The patented up and over rod moves the locking system away from the working space of the box, keeping it from being damaged
Crossover boxes are designed with patented integral ends, which means the end of the box is made of a solid piece of metal, adding strength and creating a small parts storage area
The tub of the box is constructed from one piece of metal, which creates less welds and gives the box added strength
The lid features a reinforced metal lid brace for added strength and a full perimeter closed-cell weather resistant seal to protect your box contents from dirt and moisture

This box is Junk
After three years it cracked in half at both ends. Sent reply to Better Built and ask about warranty and told them the problem with no reply back. I carry hardly no weight in the box other than some tie downs,some rope and a tarp.I have had other boxes for over 12 yrs. and they steal looked new.Need to call these Poorly Built!
