What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise the grass plugs for their health, vigor, and lush green results after planting. Most report rapid growth, strong root development, and excellent condition upon arrival, with many noting plugs doubled in size and spread aggressively. Reviewers highlight how easy the plugs are to handle and install, with dense root systems and vibrant color. Long-term performance remains strong, with customers reporting sustained growth months after planting. A small number mention confusion over square footage descriptions or received wrong grass varieties, though these issues are far outweighed by widespread satisfaction.

I ordered 64 St. Augustine Palmetto plugs on-line and had them delivered to my home. They looked horrible like they were diseased. Blades were yellow, tan, or brown. The roots looked poor. I had good success with this vendor last year. But was very disappointed in this order. But good old Lowe’s allowed me to return them to our store for a credit. I will not order these again.
Bad delivery
Apparently, one of the boxes had broken at the store, and they just threw all the sods into a box. The other box came, and because the big box was thrown on top of the other box it also broke. All of my sods look horrible. I had a couple weeks ago had a delivery of the sods from the same company and they were beautiful. These look absolutely horrible. We are too old to repackage them and take them back to the store and I tried to call the store and we just get put on hold. I buy a lot from Lowe’...
16 of the pods were not St Augustine
I have purchased these sod pod trays several times over the past few years, slowly converting my yard from Bahia to St Augustine. Generally, I have been perfectly satisfied with the product. However, this box of 4 trays (8 pods each) came with half of the pods clearly something other than St Augustine. I ended up discarding 16 of my 32 pods.
Healty Plants
Two weeks after planting, the plants are still healthy ans green. Hopeful that they will fill in
grass plugs
We bought a batch for filling in May. Had additional needs for more, so got another batch in June. the latest pods are terrible. Full of weeds and not the same St. Augustine we planted previously. Unable to take it back after it's planted. Very disappointed in the quality. Do not recommend!
