Fine for the price, seems durable

This is great so far. Easy to put together, definitely made of cedar (woodworker in the family confirmed and it smells very strongly of cedar) which some other reviewers reported that it wasn’t? There’s like a 1/2” misalignment with the hinges but it’s a kid toy so even if it was perfect it wouldn’t stay that way anyway! It’s fine for the price.

Our grandchildren love this sandbox. It did, however take this visually/spatially challenged grandpa about two hours to put it together instead of the 45 minutes suggested by the pictorial instructions.

Great Design but Falls Apart

Great design that keeps debris and cats out of the box when not in use. Grandson loves the bench, although I think he will spend most of his time IN the sand. Instructions were clear. Parts were well labelled. Assembly was easy. The next day the screws at the hinges starting pulling out. The supplied screws were too short (the material is only 1/2' thick) or the 'cedar' is too soft to hold. We’ve added a block under the screws on both side of the bench, and another seat board on top to hide the ...
