I purchased this black elongated toilet seat because my old one cracked. Was unsure if it would match my black toilet and it did. Also higher than my old one and love the slow close. Glad I purchased it.

I haven't tried to take the seat off, but it sounds like a good idea to have toggle locks to allow better cleaning. As it is new the feature I liked was the break-off torque nuts that "idiot proof" just how tight you should tighten plastic nuts and bolts. This black seat is going in a shared bathroom, so the slow close seat stops one embarrassing noise of the cover slamming down.

Bought this for my Briggs elongated toilet. Seat fits nicely and looks good. Slow-close feature works great so far. Breakaway seat fastener technology is innovative as it prevents over tightening of the fasteners.
