Backyard Discovery Evanston 10-ft W x 16-ft L x 8-ft 2-in H Black Metal Attached Pergola with Canopy

Love the product, but water overflows in the cente

Great waterproofing and overall quality—I really like it! The only issue is that rainwater overflows near the middle when it rains, and I don't know how to deal with it. I hope the seller can provide a guide or solution for this drainage issue.

Center beam sag

I just installed the 10 X 18 version and it didn’t come with a center support post. Once it was installed you can notice a slight sag where the two outer beams connect. Not a big deal until it rains then the water leaks out of the gutter right there in the low spot. Bad engineering, a center support post is needed at least on the 18’ models to help with the sag.

Expanded our usable space!

We are so happy with our pergola, which allows us to use our deck much more of the day. It is good quality and looks great.

Great addition to our patio

Pergola was a great addition to our porch. The size and features were as described and it’s a great quality piece.

So far so good!

I had mine installed right before some heavy rain storms that hit here in Texas recently. I was deeply concerened because I had seen the feed back about moisture getting through where the pergola is mounted to the house. I can say that very little maybe a few drops get through I believe as long as the pergola is installed at a slope it works just fine. the gutters themselves are relatively shallow so heavy rain will naturally overwhelm the drainage system but do to the pergola being sloped prope...

Great pergola/vastly improved my summer relaxation

I got my pergola installed a couple weeks ago and it is great. Having the louvers closed provides a nice cool spot to sit during the hot afternoon sun. The pergola offers great rain protection too. Installed it myself and it only took 5 hours.

Amazing quality!

I bought this while getting my deck rebuilt and I’m so glad I did! We extended our deck to add this on and had the deck builders install it and it has been beyond worth it! The contractor was willing to try this product since I was able to get it so much cheaper than his product he offered and he reported it was just as good if not better than his current supplier and he plans to switch to these in the future.

Worth Every Penny!

Amazing Pergola! My Trex deck was in full sun and got hotter than two rats doing the dirty in a wool sock. Now I'm able to enjoy sipping on margaritas in the cool shade while grilling up a storm. The pergola was super easy to install since I paid someone else to do it,but is very secure and easy to operate.

Awesome product

I bought the Evanston 14x10 pergola. I love the protection from the it provides from the sun and rain. It was easy to assemble.

Love, love, love

We bought our house two years ago and our backyard was not able to get much use because the sun rises on our ne side of the backyard and sets the other side. So we get beat with all day long. This has not only been a lifesaver, but one week after we put it up we had a severe hail storm and we had no leaks and no dents from the golf ball size hail. I am in awe of their products. Not only do I have the pergola, but I also have their outdoor kitchen. Neighbors are envious
