Complete garbage product

Do not but anything from this company. Zero support at all. Doesn't heat at all past lower temperatures. complete waste of money. do not waste your time. The support they have is garbage. I bought this and had lowes installers show up to install. They didn't install this company and now I am stuck with a unit I can't have installed because its not worth their time. I installed another one of these in my garage and doesn't work well at all. Caveat Emptor!

After running for a week, I am impressed with the its performance, both cooling and heating. Will need to wait for hard winter conditions to further test its heating mode. Installation was a you guessed it: breeze! It replaced a 5-year old unit and the improvements are noticeable, especially in greatly reduced power consumption. Typo in Installation Instructions
The wiring diagram for the inside and outside unit do not match, and the unit will not power up if instructions are followed. The website and contact email printed on the back on the manual also don't exist.

I bought this unit from Lowe's and went through Lowe's to have it installed. The contractor discovered that the unit came without the filters (the owner's manual said were with the unit). I called Boreal and the first number was for international sales (Couldn't help me). I called another Boreal number but it was for contractors only and they would not help me. So I called Lowes and hard as that gentleman tried, he could not help me. Without filters, and without specific dimensions in the owners...

Not a 13000 BTU unit
Just bought this unit, when it was delivered box identified as a 9000 BTU not a 13000 BTU as product title described. After investigating found that it was what I ordered. Misleading product title.
It will still be enough for my room, included tags did say it was a 27 SEER2. Have not yet finished install.
