BORA 96-in NGX 160-lb Edge Clamp

Even the replacement failed

I recently bought this extended clamp from Lowes. For the price I paid I expected a higher quality. truth be told both clamps (including the replacement clamp they sent me under warranty) failed to work as intended. the joining clamp in the middle does not securely hold the two sections together.

If I could give it a zero, I would

The center connector is faulty, the screws don't align and using the clamp actually pulls the whole thing out of alignment. There is significant center lift, so you can’t even use this as a straight edge. Like, a ruler would be more accurate. If I had not done test runs without the saw running, I would have slipped my shoe under this, or worse, stuck my saw in the tracks, got stuck, and had a catastrophic failure. Not only is this a bad product, it’s a dangerous one. Take it off the shelves,...

Diy time saver

This item saved alot of time! Every cut was straight!

Great clamping straight edge

I bought this on Saturday and used it yesterday to route juice grooves in my cutting board. It did well and made it a lot easier to route a straight line. The one groove was at an angle but i didnt have the board even and had it on the round part of my router plate. Its going to make cutting plywood sheets easier for my shelves since i cant cut a straight line. Definetly a buy if you want something more flexible than a tracksaw and cheaper. It clamps down from the underside and its made of pla...

Gap between the two rail pieces

The issue that I have with this larger, 96" edge is the the two pieces are held together by a clamp that puts a round locking bolt up through a hole in the track. when I clamp the to the edge of the wood a gap appears between the two pieces of track. it is several 16ths of an inch wide.

Great substitute for a table saw

great for long straight cuts, easy and fast

Easy to use and straight cut!

This is easy to assemble and to adjust the length. Grips/clamps well and gives me a perfect edge for a straight cut. Great product!

Rigid 8-Foot Track for Breaking Down Plywood

Rigid extruded aluminum profile doesn't bow in the middle when breaking down full 4x8 plywood sheets with a circular saw. The clamping handle locks securely on the far edge without having to walk around the table to adjust both ends. Joint connection between the two 50-inch sections stays straight and flush as long as you snug the set screws firmly. Much easier and safer than wrestling full sheets onto a table saw solo.
