BONAIRE 5900-CFM 3 -Speed Window Evaporative Cooler for 1900-sq ft

Worked great for a few months.

Unfortunately this was not a great buy. We had to replace the motor within the first year. Considering we really only use it 4 mi the out the year that’s terrible

New Bonaire Swamp Cooler has a better design

This is to replace the old Bonaire Swamp cooler, the old one had openings on both sides, which allow water comes out and wet my stucco wall. After a long time, the stucco disintegrates. The new model has the sides blocked thus prevents water coming out at the sides.

Efficient cooling

We replaced our old, large metal evaporative cooler with the Bonaire 5900. The unit was easy to install. It has been extremely efficient at keeping our home cool and comfortable. The ouside temperatures have been in the high 80s. Home temperature has been 70 or less. So far, we have been running it on its lowest settings. Extremely happy with the product and would highly recommend it.

Lots of air, easy to install

Light weight and it has good air flow. I have not connected water to it yet but I'm sure it will work great.

Powerful residental cooler

For it's size puts out an extreme amount of cold air. I also love how easy it was to install.

purge pump?

Have had two of these. I like to run a purge pump, instead of a bleed off hose. Pumps will not fit in the bottom of the cooler, without doing some trimming on them. Wish that area was a little bigger, like the MasterCool units. Usually have to replace both pumps yearly.

Simple to install and works great. I recommended to a friend last weekend.

Ran for less then two weeks. Motor went out after a week. Customer care was not care at all. guy on the phone would not talk to me since i didn't have my receipt in hand. Then said you need a new motor. Took it back to Lowes and at first refused to take it back. After about 25 minutes a manager came and returned it.
