Ideal for homeowners for restoring and protecting asphalt driveways
Coverage rate - approximately 350 sq/ft on smooth driveways
Coverage rate - approximately 300 sq/ft on rough/worn driveways
Two thin coats are required
Driveways should be pressure washed before sealcoating; for oil stains, apply a degreaser (or dish soap) and scrub into surface to penetrate oil spots; this will promote proper bonding and will help prevent adhesion failures
Repair cracks and holes with Black Jack Speed-Fill Elastic Crack Filler for longest lasting results; use Black Jack Speed-Patch for cracks and holes larger than 1 inch, for larger potholes,(allow 6 weeks to cure); all repaired areas must be allowed to cure.

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the sealer for transforming driveways with a smooth, black finish and highlighting ease of application with squeegees or brushes. Many note it fills cracks effectively and dries quickly. However, some report durability issues including tire marks and flaking, particularly when mixing instructions are not followed thoroughly or in cooler temperatures. Proper surface preparation and thorough stirring emerge as critical factors. Despite these concerns, most customers find the initial results impressive and worthwhile.

Good sealer, coverage per pail is lower stated

Good product,, the amount needed for coverage is greater than what is specified for a previously unsealed driveway. Took seven pails for 1,500 sq. ft. driveway so it is more like 250 square feet per paiil.

This stuff is great!

This sealer worked well. It was easy to spread with good coverage and it cured quickly. It has been down for a few weeks now and it seems to have good adhesion and water resistance. I love the way it looks and it has restored the good looks of the blacktop.

Would Recommend

I purchased 11 tubs, and the coverage is great. The only issue I had was that the tubs did not all contain the same amount of sealer. Five out of the 11 tubs were filled to less than 3/4 full. Overall, I’m happy with the product, but I would appreciate more consistency in the amount of product iiiprovided.
