Junk saw

This saw is the biggest piece of crap of anything I've ever owned. First time using it and it broke. The chain housing came apart and the chain won't stay on the sprocket. Not even worth going back for an exchange. I should have known. Never had any luck with B&D crap. Convinced to never purchase again. You've lived up to your reputation.

I have had one of the older models for about 15yrs...it had the manual bar oil aplicator. Being able to switch back and forth between polesaw and chainsaw is a huge deal though you need to have some basic knowledge of chain and bar maintenance. I will now be getting this newer model because I decided to take down an entire 24 ft tree in my yard and that is probably more than it was intended for...I mean it still works but much more banged up. I have used this product for at least two years and have had a ton of use out of it! I have seen the other reviews and disagree with their assessments. I kept it oiled and took the chain off and cleaned it and it worked for hours! It was a little tricky to put the chain back on but if you clean it well you will see there is a certain way that it needs to be tightened so it does not keep coming off. Nice small job saw

Would Recommend

Nice saw for small jobs in the yard. I seldom use the pole because it is so heavy out at the end of the pole. As a stand-alone saw it is great. I keep the chain properly tensioned and the oil reservoir filled and it doesn't quit.
