Great stove, but perfect
There is no no ledge in the bottom of the box, so logs naturally want to fallout when adding more wood and it is incredibly difficulty to start and maintain a burn from a cold box. Once the coals begin, then the door can be finally be closed and it becomes a efficiently burning beast. The window makes using the stove quite an enjoyable experience visually.

the Ashley wood stove and blower are fantastic. So glad we finally decided to upgrade our old wood stove with this new one. With the upgrade and new stack and top the stove is once again keeping us nice and warm with this yucky rainy, cold Ohio weather.

Not what I expected
Can’t take alot of wood doesnt heat up 2000 square feet. Had a stove that loaded from side which worked better than front door. Ash retrieved is only when stove is nearly out not when burning

Great wood heater
Replaced a smaller stove with this one. I'm really impressed with the much longer burn times than our old one. Ash drawer is nice but I seldom use it preferring an ash bucket instead. Plus if you put live coals in there you may find smoke coming from the ash drawer if the coals are live. We like the looks of the stove and the efficiency in the burn process. Stove is eh.
Does not draft well at all. Have to keep a fan behind it to get fresh air pretty much forced into it. Works well with door open but once closed fire goes out even with draft vent wide open. Have to babysit constantly to keep it going. Struggles to get my chimney up to 300 degrees and then only stays at that temp for maybe 20 to 30 mins before having to open the door to fire it up hot enough to take another small chuck of dry wood. Ample firebox. Front draft control is nice. Ash drawer with overhead plug is good. We upgraded to this from smaller stove and are very, very pleased. Great heat output. Double burn works flawless. If this stove ever wears out I will buy another
