Buying it again after 8 years

I installed this flooring in my home 8 years ago. I replaced half the rooms last year (after 7 years, due to some subfloor issues). I am replacing the final 2 rooms this year (one of which is the kitchen and the other is the kids room which both saw heavy use and abuse) after 8 years of use. Short term coverup

This stuff is CHEAP, but, for my purposes it's perfect. I have on old house built in the 1880s and the 2nd floor doesn't have a very good floor, lots of gaps between the wood planks, and splintering but I didn't want to put in good floors until I'm done fixing the drywall. I also have an elderly pet that I am caring for, so I put this very cheap floor in the room the elderly dog stays in, and it's working great, it's very easy to clean up, I don't get splinters in my feet, it was cheap so when...

Still Beautiful after 3 years!!

Make sure you hire a professional to install this flooring. Those of you who did not is probably the ones who had problems with the installation. This beautiful flooring has been in our two bathrooms for 3 years and it still looks as beautiful as the day it was installed. As long as Lowe’s continues stocking this vinyl flooring, I will buy and have it installed in our powder room and laundry room. I truly still love this vinyl flooring!! Thanks Lowe’s!!

Beautiful Vinyl Floor

We just had this vinyl flooring professionally installed in two of our bathrooms (master and upstairs hall bath) due to the toilets licking and causing damage to the sub-flooring. You get what you pay for, so pay more

I recently pulled up some very old rugs and the underlayment is in poor condition. Before I can get the hardwood floor down we have to live in these rooms, so I just need some temporary "something" before the install. Plastic and paper

I bought this flooring as a temporary solution. Little did I know that the backing would be paper--thicker than copier paper but thinner than cardboard--and it tore with the slightest effort. The product was so fragile that the material was easier to tear than duct tape. I used a regular pair of scissors and cut it with no effort; in some areas, I just tore it to fit. Excellent and easy to install. Works well on walls

I picked up my order of a 5 ft x 12 ft piece yesterday. This morning I cut out a 60 x 76-inch tub surround. It harmonizes well with the earth tones and blues. There was plenty of material left over to create a backsplash for my tiny Duravit sink. Sheet vinyl flooring is a quick, attractive, and thrifty material for tub surrounds. It has been recommended by This Old House. This vinyl bends easily is a pleasure to work with adhering quickly and well to walls with Tec Wallbase Adhesive.

If you even look at it, it will rip.

This is an utter waste of money, even if you're trying to do cover your floors inexpensively. It's too thin for any application. You can't even move a lightweight, aluminum lawn chair across it without tearing it. This is definitely NOT one of those "Something is better than nothing" purchases. If you still insist on purchasing this, please ask for my home address. If you're determined to throw your money away, I'd be happy to take some off your hands.

Exactly What I Needed for Unconventional Use

I actually bought a remnant of this vinyl flooring 12-ft W x 2-3 ft wide. It was perfect for covering the bottom of my new kitchen sink cabinet, broom closet & tall pan cabinet. It makes the perfect water proof protection for these hard working cabinets. In my old kitchen I used the same product to also line the shelves of the pantry. This is a little more work up front to use instead of shelf liner paper but you never have to replace it & it is so easy to keep clean.

wont buy again

This vinyl is very thin and tears at the slightest touch and stretches out of shape easily while installing. unless you place glue on 100% of the floor this vinyl will tear and stretch just from walking on it.
