I bought one 3 years ago and I couldn't be happier. The tracks make it so much easier in the deep wet snow and my shoulders are very thankful for them. The ability to throw snow is amazing. Wet soggy snow even, albeit it doesn't go as far but it goes much further than my last blower did. No more making that extra pass to get that wet snow out of the way before it freezes. I maintain it before it goes away for the summer, start it a few times over the summer to keep it running well and when ...

A true snow ‘thrower’!
Powerful for sure, really really throws the snow far and the tracks make it possible to go off road to clear trails to my buildings. Used thru two winters now in central Canada. One odd thing is the top of the dipstick housing is round but the cap inside is oval preventing the o-ring from seating properly and so oil slowly leaks out and makes a mess on its way down to rest in the undercarriage. Also the gas cap gasket leaks some, should be a softer and slightly thicker gasket I think, I replace...

Excellent machine
After using many cheap snow blowers, this was such a joy to use. Used this on a property that hadn't been cleared well into winter and had about 20 inches of packed snow with at least 45 inches of road plow at the end of the driveway, ran like it was nothing! The tracks are not a gimmick and really help with traction, and the heated hand grips are essentially in freezing temps. Electric start is nice but it takes me 2 pulls to hand start with minimal effort as well. Would purchase again.

I love the mach it does everything I wanted. HOWEVER! I have very steep driveway and when I start back up it sometimes just spins it's wheels. Is there someway I can put studs on the tires to help it continue up the driveway. But I still like It. Thanks, Jerome Warren

The best brand out there.
Had many snowblowers over the years for my home(s) and businesses. All the Ariens models I've ever owned are still running strong today, the other brands I've sold and gotten rid of as problems with each have occurred over time. Yes, they do cost more, but in my opinion they're definetly worth it in the long haul.

Mr.
I bought this snow thrower for my cabin in the deep snow region of Michigan's central Upper Peninsula. I've cleared an 18" and a 16" snowfall. It has impressed me both times. I figured I'd have to get my neighbor with his tractor to clear the first snowfall but I gave it a shot and was able to do it myself. A wheeled snow thrower wouldn't have gotten it done, so glad I bought the tracked version.

Agility with unsurpassed grip!
Having used and worked with tracked snow equipment for many years, I always admired their unrivaled traction, but hated how difficult they were to maneuver around, running or not. I loved the end results, but getting there was always a chore. That all changed when I got my hands on an Ariens Platinum 28 RapidTrak SHO. This is an incredible snow blower that gives you the traction you expect from a tracked machine, with the speed and agility of a conventional wheeled machine. I was impressed by ho...

I had the opposite of buyer's remorse. I wish I had a snowblower like this years ago. I have to deal with plow debris and a roof that slides. This snowblower is making my life easier. I recommend this model.
