Fittes Luxe Exhast Fan Concealed Cover

Installation was easy in new construction. We simply made a universal frame structure out of 3/4" plywood and recessed it enough to leave a bit of space so the cover didn't touch the frame or fan flange and then used Zip tape to tie the fan housing to the framing to negate any leakage. Our sheetrockers then recessed the Fittes cover a 1/16" into the sheetrock by removing the paper face to make it easier to float using less mud.

Great result but a lot of work

The Fittes Exhaust Mount Luxe for the Panasonic fan solves the problem of the cheap looking plastic grille ruining the aesthetics of the ceiling. Once installed the Fittes mount looks fantastic and creates a modern, flush opening for venting moisture out of a bathroom. The catch however is that installing the mount and the fan take alot more work than is should as both the fan and the mount have to be modified to work together and then be installed. Just one example of the modification required...

Powder Room Vents

The flush mount vents are well-built with quality materials that are very sturdy. Installation was straightforward, and it performs reliably with no issues to report. Overall, a great option if you're looking for a clean, flush-mounted exhaust solution that delivers on both looks and function.

Absolutely perfect fan cover!

Couldn’t love this more! If you’re thinking about getting this do it! It worked beautifully with the Panasonic fan. It’s clean and minimalistic! Who needs to notice an exhaust fan! So happy we decided to purchase a fittes! You will have to mud it in, but trust me it is worth the effort!

Looks beautiful but nearly impossible to install

Trying to install this was one of the most frustrating experiences of my life. I purchased and installed the exhaust fans that were suggested by fittes to use with these covers and the amount of modifications that I needed to make in order to install them was insane. We managed to get everything centered, reconnected and wired in, but the first one took us four hours to install and the second took another hour. Great looking Vent cover! Room for Improvement on the Panasonic fan interface

It was challenging to attach the Panasonic fan to it, we had to buy additional tools to do this - as you have to cut the metal flange - it took a couple of hours. Thank you youtube. Not sure if Panasonic redesigned their fan and that is why they're no longer working perfectly together.. Would love to see Fittes redesign this to be a fully compatible inter...

Good but room for Improvement

The look of these is a great improvement compared to just about any bath fan on the market. My one wish was that they were simpler to use for 'new construction' as I do not like using flexible ducting for bath fans. The main issue is the mud ring is part of the assembly, if it were an add-on fitted in place after drywall was installed (somewhat similar to the luxe floor vents) that would help greatly.

Stylish but flimsy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of these covers but unfortunately I had to order multiple replacements for our original order because the little teeny tabs that hold the facade to the trim break off extremely easily. Given that there is no way to order just the cover, we have all these extra trims sitting around...
