Good retrofit for repairs
Was able to replace my original, now loose, 5" spikes through the original ferrules, without having to remove the top leaf catching screening. Would have prefered more than the 1" of screw bite but this was adequate to tighten my gutter securely enough to hold its slope firmly with water draining.
