AmeriLux International MultiLite 4-ft x 8-ft Ribbed Diffused Polycarbonate plastic Roof Panel

Slightly damaged

The panel was a little beaten up, but I didn't need the whole thing so it worked out.

Multiplies 4

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with the MultiLite 4'x8' Ribbed Diffused Polycarbonate Roof Panels, and I can confidently say this product hits a sweet spot between durability, workability, and aesthetic performance. Installation & Handling One of the standout features of this panel is its ease of handling. At 4x8 feet, the size is manageable for one or two installers, and the polycarbonate material is noticeably lighter than fiberglass or metal roofing alternatives. It cuts cleanly wit...

Quality product that is lightweight but durable

I recently used the AmeriLux MultiLite clear polycarbonate panels for a small DIY patio cover, and overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out. If you’re looking for a lightweight, durable material that still lets light through, this is a solid pick. Installation was pretty straightforward. The panels are easy to cut to size—I just used a fine-tooth circular saw blade—and they’re light enough that I could lift and position them solo. I did pre-drill my screw holes to avoid any cracking, an...

Only recommend in light wind areas

I have been curious about this stuff for 10 years, as i have never seen it used out in the field. I am not very impressed. It looks like a bunch of flimsy straws melted together, with about the same structural integrity. I could see it on a heavily framed 16inch on center wall, but once the wind hits 45mph i imagine this stuff hums. 60mph wind and its hitting the side of your neighbors house down the street. Yes, it cuts with a utility knife when you score both sides. What i hate about this syst...

Nice quality for a greenhouse

Looks great on our greenhouse

Very easy to use and install.

If you're looking for clear polycarbonate, durable roofing panel that lets the sunlight in, this is a good solution. It's strong enough, has UV protection coating, as described by manufacturer. Easy to clean, and very good for green house roofing and sidings too. These roofing panels come with kits such as U -channel, H-Channel and tapes which I think can be purchased separately. Panels come in 4ft x 8ft dimensions and are very light, one person can easily pick up two panels and install it, it'...

Nice roof

I like this system. I have used others in the past and this is much easier to use. Install is pretty straightforward. Directions are clear. All the parts fit well together. I was very happy with how the protective film came off. Was a little hard to start but came off well after you got the few for it. One of my biggest fears was how it’s going to age as a deck roof. Not being completely clear I think it will look cleaner much better then the clear I had before yet still letting in some natural...

Great product

These polycarbonate sheets are amazing. They are thick and sturdy. They come protected with plastic on both sides to prevent scratches. I am planning on building a small greenhouse and these will be perfect. I am impressed with ease of use so far. I have cut them down to 2’x4’ rectangles making 4 from one sheet. They cut easy with a regular wood tooth blade in a circular saw. There was no chipping or melting. And I am starting framing now. These will be very durable and thick for my needs in rai...

A joy to work with and very tough

These panels are amazing. They're tough, light and easy to work with and install. The panels are perfect for walls on greenhouses or sun rooms and patios. They're very DIY friendly, the instructions are easy to follow and there are videos for them as well. The company has all you need to install them quick and easy (their screws are brilliant). Just get all the hardware and fasteners/joiners and you're set. The panel itself is super light, but amazingly strong. Cutting them is quick with a...
