Teardrop cover stops water from draining
The included Trench/Drain Plate that hides the drain from being seen, stops the water from draining. So, now you don't get a comfortable place to stand, that you expect to be comfortable and flat. Instead, you get a sort of divot/hole in the middle of the shower that is uncomfortable to stand in. The photos are misleading because it makes you think the water can drain with the cover on. If this is purposely designed to stop the water from draining I have no idea why that is desired for a show...

great shower pan looks like a pro did it
very pleased with the pan, also bought the walls and the glass enclosure. quality is excellent and would definitely recommend. 2 recomendations: give some thought to the shower head location when setting the door swing. the teardrop drain cover looks very nice but does not actually allow the pan to drain. either i missed something in my install or the design is flawed. for now its removed and in a drawer which is a real shame. it looks great! but, the drain has to let the water drain.
